Professor Sir Stephen Holgate set out evidence at the Ella Kissi-Debrah inquest on the role of air pollution in her death. He is the Medical Research Council Clinical professor of immunopharmacology, and honorary consultant physician at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Southampton. Notable research contributions include the role of respiratory viruses, allergens and pollutants in asthma exacerbation.

Dr Hayley Pinto is a doctor and environmental activist, with expertise in how withholding information from patients can harm their mental health. She has over 25 years of experience of working in the NHS and publicly funded addiction services. She is a co-founder of CHAIN (Climate Hope Action in Norfolk – a local awareness raising and lobbying group), a speaker for Greenpeace and a member of Doctors for Extinction Rebellion, PsychDeclares and HealthDeclares.

Dr Marina Soltan is an NIHR academic clinical fellow in respiratory medicine at the University of Birmingham and the University Hospitals of Birmingham. She has a strong track-record in nationally prize-winning medical education research and serves on several national medical education bodies including Health Education England, the United Kingdom Foundation Programme Office, the Royal College of Physicians, the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges and the General Medical Council’s review on health and disability.
